Nico Snyman is a globally recognised Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) executive, forensic IT auditor, and ISO specialist, with over 40 years of experience in risk management, business continuity, and security governance.
He is the Founder and CEO of Crest Advisory Africa, leading international initiatives in ISO implementation, auditing, and GRC technology innovation, including advanced Business Continuity Management Systems aligned with ISO 22301.
Nico has held executive roles on one of Africa’s largest infrastructure projects—the Gautrain, where he designed and implemented enterprise-wide risk management, crisis management, and business continuity frameworks from concept to full operational maturity.
A Fellow of the Institute of Risk Management South Africa (IRMSA) and an internationally accredited PECB Lead Auditor and Trainer, Nico specialises in transforming compliance requirements into strategic business enablers, helping organisations build resilience, enhance governance, and achieve sustainable performance.
